Iowa City was ranked 21st in the Top 25 Turnaround Towns by REALTOR.com The report compared data from 2012 first quarter to 2011 first quarter. This is the first time Iowa City has made the list!
The Iowa City real estate market had a 6.81% list price apprecation in 1st Quarter 2012. The median age of the inventory dropped 24.36% and the total inventory dropped 26.24% over last year. With these statistics as well as Iowa City's unemployment rate at 4.2% and the below average foreclosure rate, Iowa City made the list!
